Competition rules

You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States or Canada when you apply.

You may apply alone or as a team. One person, the account holder, submits and manages the application for the team.

Each person may submit one application per season, tied to their legal name. Duplicate applications may be discarded.

Your application must be your own work and must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Once submitted, an application is locked. You may withdraw it at any time; a withdrawn application can't be resubmitted in the same season.

Do not include confidential information, personal data about other people, passwords or financial account details.

By applying, you allow Founder Arena to show and discuss your application on stream and in recorded content, including your answers, pitch deck and demo.

You are identified only by your username. Your legal name, email address and contact details are never shown.

If you advance, meetings with the judges may be streamed live or recorded, and you may appear on camera.

Sam and Ramy review applications and decide who advances at each stage. Their decisions are final.

Funding is selective and not guaranteed. Any funding is offered on terms negotiated individually and agreed outside this site.

You keep ownership of your idea and the materials you submit, subject to the media permission in section 3.

Founder Arena may disqualify an application that breaks these rules, contains false information, or infringes someone else's rights.
